Amanda Davidson has balanced her career between health care and Hollywood since 1996 — the year HIPAA was enacted. She identifies as a professional patient, having spent nearly 20 years in the cancer chair. It was time well spent as Davidson provided benefits users with support in various roles, from HR assistance to ACA consulting, and has experience on both the carrier and provider sides, where she has either created or clarified complex information for patient families, health technology users, and health care providers. Her greatest passions include PHI (protected health information) and her two rescue Siameezers, Princess Buti and Steadman.
